I just rebooked our airfare for southwest and received a credit of $180.00 ticketless funds to be used for a future flight. My dilemma is that I have to use this credit by June 4, 2004, because I had used a smaller credit from a previous flight to book my original flight this time. When I contacted customer service they said they would give me a 6 month extension in the form of a travel voucher for the $180.00, but that I had to book a future flight over the phone and go to the airport to apply the voucher.
My questions are:
Are the flights higher when you call versus booking online?
When you go to the airport to apply the voucher, do you do this before the flight (I am near the airport so not a hardship) or wait until your day of departure?
Would you take the voucher 6 month extension or choose to sell the ticketless funds over ebay?
Thanks for your replies!
