questions about using online checkin at DVC resorts

Hi ,
I've read you can checkin in online up to 10 days in advance.

Our holiday is soon - our plan is we have5 nights at boardwalk , then we go on a 5 night DCL cruise then we check back in Akl Kidani village villas.

I was wondering whilst we are at boardwalk if we could checkin for our second stay although we won't have access to a printer - is this needed?

We'll get to AKL early as we are leaving the ship - would it be better to leave the checkin till we are there rather than do it online?

Any advice / help is really appreciated

You don't need a printer to check in on line.

And I wouldn't worry about it one way or the other. On line check in benefits are marginal...really can be helpful if you come in a bus full of people from ME for example. But in general, you'll be fine whether you check in online or not.
