Questions about using an old ticket

While cleaning out lots nooks and crannies I came across tickets from a trip we took in 1994. It seemed like I remembered that we had a day or two left on them so I took a pic of each ticket and emailed disney and it turns out that each of the three tickets have one park hopper day left on them. When I told hubby he immediately said we need to take a quick trip and next thing I know we have flights booked and a reservation at all star movie resort for three nights.

Here's where it gets complicated. There are two of us and we want to go to the parks for 2 days. We have three days left on those tickets so we need to buy one more day. I want to buy a non hopper pass for that one day because its cheaper and we know we will spend one full day at the magic kingdom. I'd also like to add the passes to our magic bands from our last trip last fall so that I can schedule fast passes for rides. Will it be possible to have two different types of passes loaded on the same magic band for one of us? And would we be able to control which passed is used on the day we go to the park?

Yes,I did this a while back. I had 6 separate days leftover on old passes(probably from late 90's/early 2000's) and back then it didn't really matter which of us used which pass....(no fingerprinting) so I stopped at GR in the Studios,and asked them to add the leftover days to MDE,and they did no problem, and gave me the RFID card with the days all on one ticket.(in my name) I figured it was simpler than trying to figure out days per person,and if you do that, you should only need to purchase the extra one day ticket- If it were me I would tell GR that 2 of the tix days are in your name, the other one is your spouse, then go and buy the 3rd extra day.

You'll need to have them prioritize what ticket you want to use up that day. I go to the concierge at my Dis hotel to have them do it (even if you have multiple tickets and you use MDE to activate or deactivate them, they told me to always let someone there actually go in and prioritize which ticket I was actually using).

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help. I was worried about how this would work and your experience helps me understand. I will now definitely have someone there prioritize my tickets before going into the parks on the first day now. I can see where that will help make sure we get to use them in the way we have planned. Because of extended hours and a full day a MK it does make a difference to us.

How do you get the days added to your account ahead of time o you can schedule FPs? I wouldnt want to wait till I'm there to do this!
