We have never eaten at the Boathouse and are going to try it in March. Can you see Illuminations from the restaurant if you have a late dinner time? If not, what time would you recommend going here and any must have food items?

The Boathouse is at Disney Springs and Illuminations is at Epcot. I don't think you can see Illuminations from there.

It's still worth a stop in as the food is good. I had the filet oscar style.

We ate here last Sunday night for our anniversary. It was the best meal we had all weekend.
My husband had the tenderloin, he said the steak was delicious, but the sauce (on the side) was awful.
I had the cedar plank salmon and it was excellent, nice and juicy, cooked perfectly.
We split a baked potato and a baked squash dish that was ok, nothing I would fight for, LOL.

The atmosphere was beautiful, the outside was closed unfortunately, we would have loved to eat out there.

They have wonderful lobster roll although it is a bit "pricey"-beautiful establishment though. And you definitely won't be able to see Illuminations from here as one poster mentioned that is in Epcot and The Boathouse is in Disney Springs.
