Questions about the Transatlantic

We will be traveling on the Transatlantic in April with two children, 17 and 5. I'm sure the social butterfly 5 year old girl will be happy in the children's club and my question is what will they 17 year old do? He is mildly autistic, interacts almost exclusively with family members, and will follow around his grandfather and loved the corny entertainment on the RCCL. Is there entertainment of this kind i.e. magic shows, ice skating shows, non Disney type shows? He will not want to do anything with kids his age and he might be needing to work on his schoolwork, he doesn't like to read and time seems like it would loom large for him. Any hints or suggestions?

There is a show in the evening, either at 6:15 or 8 pm, depending on what time you are dining. If you are dining late, you go to the early show and vice versa. These shows are varied, broadway type shows or magic shows.

There are also family activities that one can either participate in, or be a spectator. These are in the afternoon or evening.

There is also a movie theatre which plays current movies.

Hope that helps.

There are navigators from one of the TAs last time linked in the thread at the top of this forum about the Med and TA excursions and other info. That should give you a good idea about what you can expect to be offered daily. :)
