I'm kind of confused on how the monorail works. So I think there are 2 monorail tracks one is for the resorts and one for MK and Epcot ? I will be staying at the Polynesian. If we want to go to Epcot do we go to the TTC and get on the Epcot monorail ? When we are going to the MK how many stops are there on the way and on the way back ? I have never really used the monorail except once and I dont really remember much about it, because it was 10 years ago lol.

There are actually 3 monorail lines.
1 runs clockwise around 7 Seas Lagoon (Resort Monorail). From the Poly the stops would be Poly, GF, MK, CR, TTC, Poly.

The 2nd runs counter clock-wise and it is called the "Express monorail". It only stops at TTC and MK. It passes through the monorail resorts, but does not stop there.

The third runs from TTC to Epcot and back. It does not stop anywhere else.

If you want to go to Epcot, the best thing to do would be to walk from Poly to the TTC (about 5 minutes) and take the Epcot line. You could take the resort monorail all the way around, if you choose. I cannot recall if there is a direct bus from Poly to Epcot.

Hi:
Can you still ride in the front car of the monorails-with the driver-assuming there is space or did that option end with the unfortunate crash a few years ago? I will be at Poly in September with grand daughter.
Thanks

No more riding up front...that did end with the accident unfortunately.
