Hello Everyone! My 2 Daughters and I are planning a trip to WDW this September. We have been many times before, but have always stayed on property. This time we have a smaller budget that unusual and I was just wanting to hear everyone's experience staying off property and needing and ECV. My husband has many reward points where he has to travel for work and his reward points are at Hilton properties and Holiday Inn. We were looking at Holiday Inn in the Disney Springs area. Is it possible to rent an ECV from say Gold Mobility and get transportation to and from the parks? How, if possible, would I even accomplish this? I have a wheel chair but everyone has told me it is not fun pushing a wheelchair through the parks, so I don't want to do that. Thank you for you input!

You’ll need to check with the hotel about transportation. Some offsite hotels have dedicated shuttles while others share, and you may need to sign up for a time, especially if the need to provide an accessible shuttle.

Definitely check with the hotel, a lot of the hotels in that area used a shared shuttle service. DH stayed at one of them and the shuttle service used a roll up ramp. They said they appreciate if you schedule in advance, that way they can make sure the space is setup and ready and not used by someone else before they get there. But they can also accept last minute as well.
