Questions about staterooms...

We are going on our 1st cruise Feb.06 and had a question about our stateroom. We have reserved a Cat. 4 and I was wondering if having a room so high on the ship will make us feel more movement? I have heard that it will,but will it be that much more noticeable!!? Don't usually get motion sickness but I am still concerned!! So if anyone has stayed on deck 8 I would love some feedback!!! Thankx!!!! Holli

We stayed in a cat 4 on deck 8 mid ship in march. We didn't have any more motion than on previous cruises on decks 2 and 5. the only thing that did bother DH was the noise from deck 9 every morning when they were rolling out huge bins of fresh towels for the pool. Everything else was terrific. the extra space was nice too.
