We are booked in a standard view 2 bedrrom at BWV in December.
Where are these located (which floors)?
What is the view actually of?
Are there any rooms that are better than others?
Any opinion on these rooms would be so appreciated! :)
Thanks!

We have stayed 3 times in a 2br, std view. Twice we overlooked the front driveway, once the parking lot. The parking lot was about as far away from the elevator as you could get but the view wasn't bad and it was quiet. The rooms with a view of the front driveway was much closer but a bit noisy. To us the lower points was well worth it! My guess is they have std view rooms on every floor.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom on the 4th floor. Our room numbers were 4073 and 4075 and our 3 balconies overlooked the front entrance. No complaints here, although once I was woken up at about 2am from the noise of a large group arriving out front. It wasn't a problem though - just rolled over and went right back to sleep. We have another 2-bedroom standard view reserved for November.

We stayed in the same rooms as Jenny in September. I was glad it was too hot to hang out on the balcony for very long as the Mears shuttles were coming and going frequently and they made a terrible racket. However, we didn't hear them when our balcony doors were closed.

We also stayed in rooms "near the tennis courts" -- it sounds like we may have been near where Terry stayed (4125 comes to mind). It was quiet, and the view was very nice -- we looked down on a small pond that always had a few wading birds in it. We could also see the Tower of Terror and the high fireworks from Fantasmic! The parking lot was a ways in the distance. These rooms are pretty far from the elevator but we had kids in strollers and a MIL in a wheelchair and it wasn't that bad for us. If everyone in your group can handle it, there is a stairway down that end that pops you out closer to the self-park than you would be exiting via the front entrance, and by going out the back door you can access the Quiet Pool (and walkway to MGM).

Other than a BoardWalk view, this would be my preferred location at the BoardWalk resort.

Rooms 1109 and 1111. The view from these rooms were fabulous. We were a bit downhill from the entrance and separated by a big lawn and a few big trees so we never even really knew it was there. Instead we had a view of the little waterway that you cross to get to the resort and at night we could see (and hear) illuminations from our balcony. It doesn't get any better than that! For our next trip in a studio I've requested a room near the ones we had before. This view was better than the "preferred" view we had last time (and fewer points!)

So what would I ask for if wanting a room down at that end....near the tennis courts? or Away from the elevators?

I have a 1br standard view booked for next Jan.
