Questions about Sanaa

After some waffling, she's on-board with going directly to Kidani from the airport. Thanks to all for the input! This place has been phenomenal, so informative.
For killing some time at Kidani, watching the animals out on the observation areas is really relaxing, and looking around the resort is nice too. If you feel like you've seen enough at Kidani and have more time, you can walk over to Jambo (or shuttle bus over) and look around there. The lobby in Jambo is very large and impressive.

for understanding, if we are staying at one resort, we can have the bell hop at another resort hold our luggage? We then pick it up to take to our “home” resort?
I have this same question now that I'm planning on going directly to Kidani. Can anyone confirm? Is this something I should call ahead to ask about just to be safe?

We have left things at the bellhop at various hotels over the years without any issue. They ask for our name and number, I can't even recall being asked for a room number or if we're staying onsite. In the fall, we "checked" an entire birthday cake with the bellstand after dinner at GF Cafe and they just needed a name and number from me.

^ agreed, you don't need to worry if they'll take your bags. You just provide your name and phone number. Expect to tip a few bucks when you get your bags back.

I concur that 2 hours is cutting it REALLY close. Our flight was in early and even with paying for a personal, private luxury transport where the driver met us at the baggage claim, it still took 2 h 10 min to get bags, load into the suburban, go straight to the room since we did early check in. By the time we got down to the restaurant in the same resort, it was 2h 30m after we landed.

I would definitely go straight to Kidani. First of all, I wouldn't want the stress of rushing right at the get-go of a vacation. Also, Kidani has an amazing savanna worth enjoying. Definitely walk over to Jambo and visit their spectacular lobby. Lots to do to RELAX and spend time around that area. I think it will set a more positive vibe for your vacation.

You could ride the skyliner to DHS and then get an AKL bus from there. But you would still be cutting it close on time.

So just to confirm, if I were to check out of CSR and Uber to AKL for breakfast at Boma, it would be no issue to ask AKL bell services to store my luggage while I eat and then just catch an Uber straight to MCO after breakfast? That would make things so easy!

Yep, you can have Bell Services store your luggage while you eat / look around the resort.

Yep it was pretty straightforward for us when we did it, they'll give you a ticket and confirm the name and number of bags you are storing. Just make sure to bring it back when are you done with breakfast and you should be good to go.
