You can get the bracelets ( called Seabands ) at your local drug store- our Eckerd Drugs carry them. Be sure to get the ones that look like the terry cloth tennis bracelets- the velcro close ones are not soft and they can rub your wrists raw- I used these for both pregnancys and I can't say for sure that they worked but I was affraid to remove them-

I'm terrible for motion sickness

-I go ahead and assume that I will be come ill and take my peptobismal right before we enter the park- doesn't make me sleepy and works wonders for me- better then the bonnie or dramamine does. The chewable ones are great to carry around with you.
DON'T eat a lot before you go to the parks eat lite non- greasy foods all day- don't fill up on heavy icecream and very sweet foods either like sodas ( causes reflux ), try to remain cool- drink lots of ice water ( drink room temp water if you are already feeling ill

- ) and the biggest thing is DO NOT look at the middle of spinning rides ( like at the ground ) and do not focus on the ground while riding or focus on a non-moving part of the ride while on it- . Try to take nice big deep breaths look to the front on all the rides and remain calm - even if I'm having a blast I get sick if I start laughing and raising heck-! Also, I found out that if I close my eyes for ANY length of time I get very sick-
At Disney Quest the cyberspace rollercoaster CM said not to close your eyes as it intensifies the sick feelings

. He said he has to clean up "protein spills" almost every shift and they noticed that in almost every case the video tape shows that the rider closes his or her eyes when they start to feel ill. Something about confusing the brain with motion but no visual input.
For your Dh- be sure to bring his pain meds, and inflamation meds/ muscle relaxants ( ibuprofin sp? is good for this problem )- take them before he goes to the parks so his muscles/back will be relaxed -this should help a bit-
I'd skip BTTF.
Spiderman along with Cat In The Hat and Men In Black all have unexpected spins

- he might read up on the rides to try to brace himself before the spin- oh- and on the CITH the spin can be turned off. I've not ridden ROTMummy but I read in one of the posts (another site) that 2 different people have been bruised on their arms after or during the launch scene as the car turns to the left then sharply to the right- can't be all that good if it's that rough for the body. Popeye's rafts are fun but they can be jerky if they hit the side with enough momentum. Unfortunately the big coasters are out-
He should be fine with T-2, Horror make-up show, Ghostbuster's show, beetlejuice or any street shows, Shreck, Jimmy ( ask to watch it first )- if he thinks it's too rough ask to sit in the stationary seats, Nick studios, ET, Animal Planet show, Barney show and playland, fivels playland, Jaws, Twister, Earthquake, Storm force, Sues land carr, 1 fish 2 fish, JP flyers/playground, Posiden's, Sinbads-
I can't think of any other rides or shows right now- It's 2:45am here and I'm getting tired- I'm a night owl and the kids are on spring break so I can sleep in tomorrow-
Hope that helps-
