Hi everyone! :wave2: I have been lurking for awhile but I have a question that I cant seem to find the answer. Ok so I'm trying to convince my fiance to get married at Disney. So I need some prices so I have some talking points telling him it wont be that expensive. If you girls could help me out that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Flowers? is there a website i could go to see the different prices and my options?

Venue prices: I would like sea breeze and any of the boardwalk ballrooms?

When it comes to the price for dinner I'm very confused. If I do something simple is it cheaper than something more elaborate?

Characters? How can you get married at Disney and not have characters. Mickey and Minnie specifically.

Thanks again!

Welcome!

Are you considering the Escape Collection or the Wishes Collection? Because the way they price certain things differs.

Unfortunately, there is not because Disney gives custom quotes on every floral arrangement. The best thing to do is to look for something similar to what you want in other people's budgets. This thread is a good place to start: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2182201

Again, this depends on which collection you choose. The Deluxe Escape package price includes Sea Breeze Pointe at no extra charge, but there will be a food and beverage minimum for the ballrooms if you decide to add a private catered event. Also, adding a private event means you will then have to meet an overall $7,500 minimum expenditure.

The Wishes Collection prices everything individually. There would be a $2,000 venue fee for SBP and no venue fee for a ballroom, but you would have to meet a per-person food and beverage minimum that depends on time of day and the year you're getting married.

Almost always! ;)

All characters cost the same: $900 for 1, $1,350 for 2 and $1,800 for 3.

Hope this helps!

Wishes most definitely, I have huge family.

OK, so, yeah: $2,000 plus tax for Sea Breeze Point, no venue fee for a BoardWalk ballroom, but you have to meet food and beverage minimums of $75 (brunch)/$100 (lunch)/$125 (dinner) per person in 2012 or $100/$125/$150 per person in 2013. ALL food and beverage served that day counts, including your cake and any other events, like a dessert party or bridal tea.

For what it's worth - for our DD - we just told her the total budget for the wedding - and then she chose how to spend it - she had a wishes wedding - plated dinner - DJ - and Illuminations desert party - :cool1: It cost us the same amount as if she would have had her wedding at home - just a smaller guest list....SOOOOO you should have some idea of the total amount of $$$ you want to spend - and then see if the DFTW will "fit" - if you're flexible on the number of guests and some of the other extras....then you be able to make it work BTW - it was worth it!!!!! - so much so that her Dad and I had our VR there last summer as well....:flower3:

Good Luck and Congratulations pixiedust:
