I'm taking two 5 year olds next spring to WDW for a week and have heard that there is a pirate cruise for kids. Does anyone have any information about this activity and/or specifics for registration, etc.? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

We did this in 2002 with our then 4 year old son. You should call the regular disney line for pricing and times, I think it is on specific days of the week from 10:30 - 12:30.

You meet at the GF Marina where the kids all receive a life jacket and "pirate hat". They make 3 stops around the lake where they get clues and look for the hidden treasure. I think they either get a snack or lunch too, I can't remember for sure though. Our son really loved it and it was a nice break from the parks for him.

It was a nice short break for us, too, and we took our younger son over to MK for some one-on-one time. I would recommend it if you can find the time!:D

This looks like a fun time for the kids we are sending our 3 to do it when we get back to Disney from our Cruise. We thought it may be a nice tie in after being on the cruise ship.
