Questions about Park Opening/Closing

I am very familiar with open and closing procedures at Disney World. I was curious how they work at Disneyland.

Most of the time, if you're lined up for rope drop, you can usually get on Main Street before official park opening and peruse the shops before the lands officially open. Does DL do anything like this?

In terms of closing, after official park close, do you still have an hour to look on Main Street and exit the park? Does DCA do anything like this as well?

DL will usually open the ticket gates a little before park opening and allow guests onto Main Street or Buena Vista Street. On non-MM/EMH mornings, I've found that it's not that early (maybe between 5 and 15 minutes). Some of the shops on Main Street will be open (e.g., Emporium), but not all of them (Starbucks did not open until just before the park did). On MM/EMH mornings, I think more things are open by the time the let non-MM/EMH guests enter the park because of they will have opened for MM/EMH guests on both MS and BVS.

Usually the shops on Main Street and BVS will remain open for one hour after park closing. Some of the food locations on MS will close with the park (e.g., Refreshment Corner, Jolly Holiday, etc.).
