Questions about our HHI stay

We are staying at HHI for the first time April 3-9. I have a few random questions that I'm hoping someone could help me with.

We will be in a 2BR unit. I know nothing about this property. Is there anything in particular I should request for location? (Naturally I realize it would just be a request, not a guarantee.)

Are the washers in the villas regular or HE? We may want to bring a little extra of our own laundry soap, besides the starter supply they will give us.

What's the best grocery store close to the resort?

I may think of more questions as the time gets closer, but appreciate your help with these to get started. Thanks much!

Most would suggest Marsh View.

I believe washers are he.

I agree on the marsh view. If you don't mind some stairs, might also request high floor. There is also a Whole Foods and Fresh Market very close to the resort.

I'm not sure that the washers are HE--they were the traditional kind with an agitator.

No elevators in the buildings?

No elevators, so if stairs are not problem then request higher floor. Marsh view was option before not any more you will need to call MS and ask the request to be forwarded to resort.
Laundry is regular washer dryer.
You can walk down to Kroeger, behind the resort, still you will need to cross the small bridge but very short distance.

There is one building with an elevator - the main Lodge - but I don't think there are any dedicated 2 bedrooms in it. There is now a statement on the booking page which indicates the lack of elevator access. All the buildings are elevated, so there are stairs to access even the 1st floor rooms. I think only grand villas are on the 3rd floor - but you really get a workout then!

The Kroger is only a couple of years old and amazing. It's huge. We've ridden our bikes to it to pick up random things since it's so close.

There's Whole Foods and Publix.
