We are staying at OKW later this month and I have a few questions. What is the brand of laundry detergent that they provide? I've got a kiddo who is sensitive to brand changes. Do the coffee makers use regular paper filters. And lastly, do the ground floor patios have a fence or some type of barrier? I'm wondering if I'll have to run around after my toddler when we use the patio. Thanks in advance!

We have our first OKW stay next month. But all the DVC I've been in give you 1 pack of All if you're in a 1 or 2b. We've only ever used the laundry facility at VGF. The vending soap was an eco friendly, no-name brand. Or atleast a brand I've never heard of.

I would just bring your own. There are several brands in pod forms that are fragrance free. I usually double bag them and put them in a tupperware.

We stayed in a 2br villa last month and there was one box of Tide in the laundry room of our villa. I brought some of my own detergent pods because I don't like scented laundry products.

The villa has a 12 cup coffee maker and it uses regular basket filters.

The patio is completely enclosed with a railing. Our last trip at OKW we had ALL detergent, 2 boxes. This was November 2014 in a Grandvilla.

We have stayed at OKW many times, and I do not remember there ever being anything other than Tide detergent in the rooms.
The patios are have full railings enclosing them, up to about mmm, maybe 3 1/2 ft high?
However I suspect you will still be chasing that toddler around! That's just how it goes with toddlers.

DVC switched from Tide to ALL about 2 years ago. Maybe they switched back since November??

We had All in our laundry, both at OKW and AKV-KV about a week ago. Coffee makers are Mr Coffee style with flat bottom paper filters. They are not provided. You'll get one, maybe two, filtered pouches of Joffrey's coffee each service day that may 4-6 cups per pack.
