Questions about Ohanas

Hi,

I've been reading good things about Ohana's on the boards. I haven't been to restaurants at the Poly in a long time. Just a few questions re Ohanas if you can help..

I'm going 1st week of Sept. My son will almost be 2 then.
Thinking og getting DDP.

In your opinion, which is better food wise - Breakfast or Dinner?

Are there other characters at breakfast besides Lilo & Stitch?

I read the dinner menu and the appetizers and main meats look good. Do they serve any side dishes with the skewers of meats - like vegetables or something?

It sounds like a fun restaurant for kids - is that so?
If you could go to 2 of these 3 restaurants for dinner - which 2 would you choose?:
Chef Mickeys
Whispering Canyon
Ohanas

If you are going to be on the dining plan I would choose dinner. You will get more value for dinner than breakfast on the dining plan. My personal opinion on Ohana's dinner is that it is one of the best on property; however, you will get varying opinions like at all of Disney's table service restaurants.

Breakfast characters include; Lilo and Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto.

Hi, I haven't actually been to any of them yet, so I maybe the wrong person to answer you - but I have heavily researched them all on the Dis thumbsup2 ) and have reservations for all of them for my DS4!!!

I believe Mickey and Pluto are also at O'Hanas breakfast - which has been highly recommended on these boards.

From what I've read, I guess most people will tell you that O'Hanas food is the best. (i've booked O'hanas for both breakfast and dinner, as well as Chef Mickeys for dinner (it gets mixed reviews but I thought DS would get a kick out of seeing the monorail and characters) - I opted for lunch at WCC, as it will break up one of our MK days and I thought the boat ride in the middle of the day will be fun!!)
