Questions about Officiant

When do we pay him? Before or after the ceremony?
Did you just pay in a plain envelope or with a thank you card?

We used Rev Kevin Knox he was great we had to pay a $50 deposit and then the balance on the day which was $150, we gave this to him in an envelope with our marriage certificate so that he could take that back to the court house. We got married on the 13 November and received them (as we got copies they cost $2.50 per copy) at home when we got back from our honeymoon.

We Are Using Rev. Luther Kistler, We Have Met With Him Twice After Our Planing Sessions And He Is Great! We Are Gonna Give Him The ,money In An Envelope At The Rehearsal When We Give Him Our Marriage License. He Only Charges $150.

I'm sure there are many brides out there that didn't have a rehearsal. I personally felt better having one because I have a large wedding party and I wanted everyone to know what they were doing and what to expect.

It's okay! I'm not having a rehersal... but I'm also an escape bride. But don't worry. If you choose not to have a rehersal, you prolly thought it out and decided what was best for you. You're okay!

We are having jack day and he offered us a rehursal and its included in his price. I think he is about $200 but cant remember of the top of my head, we didnt have to send him any money when we booked our day

It depends on the officiant. For Rev. Kevin Knox, its an extra $100 for a rehearsal.
