Questions about my first reservation??

I just made my very first reservations as an owner! With Questions!!

The fight between the points and the discount was killing me. We already have a vacation booked in December since March for cash through CRO but I was trying to figure out a way to use the points.

Well, they foudna 1- bedroom available for the nights I want in January so now I can cancel my cash ressie and need to research the DDP for DVC members, the AP, and make all new ADR's and cancel my old ones.

So, what goes on in January? I'll be there from the 10-19 at BWV's. Is there anything special going on in the parks?

If I buy the DDP, do I have to book it for my entire stay? I'm thinking we'll grocery shop for this trip cuz if I have to pay for 10 days of DDP then I'm not doing it this trip.

I did have one problem on the phone though, when I was making my reservations, I found myself using words the BWV instead of Boardwalk Villa's and POR instead of Port Orleans Riverside, etc, etc... I was a crazy woman! I usually only talk about WDW vacations online so I was talking like I would be on here. Anyone else do that?

I did have this on another thread but it got locked cuz I asked about something I guess I shouldn't have so I would just like answers to these other questions please?

Yep, the marathon weekend starts on the 10th with the full marathon on the 13th. Don't plan any early ADRs at the MK on the 12th or 13th.

Yep, again. You have to book the DDP for every night of your reservation and for every person in your party.

Yes, you will have to purchase the DDP for every night of your stay for every person on the reservation over the age of 3.

I agree with you - 10 days is too long for the DDP. Go for the groceries plan. You'll be glad you did.
