Hi everyone! We are planning to visit the 2018 Flower & Garden Festival in March. In anticipation we have been looking at the menus from 2017. I know that the menus can change but I was curious about everyone's experience. DH eats pretty much everything. I am pescetarian~I eat everything but meat/chicken. Love seafood.
I noticed on the 2017 menus that many items that I would like to try have only one ingredient that I can't eat. I would love to hear about any experiences with asking to leave that one item off at the booths. I realize that some items are already in the sauce...but just would love to get any input about your personal experience. Thanks so much everyone!

Totally depends on the item. If it is something easy to leave off, they have always been willing to do it for me. If it is something that is integrated, then there is nothing they can do as they don't really have the space or supplies to customize in that way. When I have inquired about changes, they have always been great at knowing what can and can not be left out.

Thanks so much! I have to admit I was a little discouraged, but that being said I know that Disney has come such a long way with their menus and trying to work with different requests.

They have. The biggest thing to remember about the booths is that they simply just do not have a lot of space so the changes and request should be kept super simple.

For example, looking at pictures, it does look like the bacon can be left off of Seared Scallops with French Green Beans, Butter Potatoes, Brown Butter Vinaigrette and Apple wood Smoked Bacon as it doesn't appear to be a part of the sauce, green beans, or on the scallops. I mean, I can swear to it as I have never ordered it lol... but asking for that should be okay.

Trust me, I get it. I am going to be there in 2018 as well with food restrictions due to medical reasons so I understand how it can be 100%!!

That was actually one of the dishes I was wondering about! Thanks! I have always had great success with TS restaurants. Excited to go back to F&G. It's been 3 years since F&G for us. I hope you have a fabulous time!

I have not been to Flower and Garden since... 2007 I think it was. So it's been a long time! Before they even did extra food booths. Heck, last time I was at Disney at all was 2014 so Iam super excited to be able to go back. Hope you all have an amazing time!

We used to go every year when our kids were younger. Our last trip to F&G was in 2015. I love all the booths! We have been to F&W several times but wanted a change next year.
