Questions about Magic Bands

Having been to WDW many times- this will be my first trip with Magic Bands.

Im a little confused on how you get them.

I will be staying on-site but booking only my hotel thru the disney Website. I assume this will get my the magic bands (they will be sent by disney, yes?) Do you get to choose what color bands you get or is it random?

Also I will be purchasing my tickets thru Undercover Tourist. I assume I can link this to the MB with a code on the ticket, yes?

Yes, you get to choose what color you want. They will be sent to you in the mail about 30 days before you arrive (assuming you live in the US - otherwise you will get them when you check in).

Yes, you can link your tickets regardless of where you purchase them via the code on the ticket.

You must create/log in to the My Disney Experience website. You will link your reservation if not already done using the identifier provided by Disney. You will have an area where you can personalize your magic bands.

You can link tickets with the codes on them in the My Disney Experience website.

You can link your tickets before you get your bands too as you are entitled to a 60 day FP+ window since you are staying onsite. You'll see everything in your MDE account.
