Questions about Knott's Berry Farm

Hi, everyone. We will be at KBF one week from today, and we just found out that friends of ours will be in town, and they are thinking about joining us there. One person is worried, though, as they are "pooh sized" and have run into problems at other theme parks as far as fitting on rides. I am no "skinny Minnie" myself, but I hadn't thought about this at all. I haven't personally run into anything at DLR or Universal that doesn't accommodate me, but our friend is a bit larger. Can anyone tell me which rides might be an issue, and maybe give a point of reference regarding how much of a problem?

Another question I have is regarding arrival time. The park opens at 10:00, so we were planning on arriving at 9:30. Will that be sufficient?

Also, can anyone tell me how the parking works? How early is the lot open? Is it easy to find?

TIA! :goodvibes

Also, I am wondering if the following plan looks ok to those who are experienced with KBF? I am also wondering how long this plan might take.

Ghostrider
Montezooma's Revenge
Silver Bullet
Xcelerator
Jaguar
Pony Express
Check for shows, shopping, or repeat any rides that we want to.
Then exit the park, grab some chicken and pies to go from Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant at eat at the tables just outside the south park gates.
Head to DLR for the rest of the day.

We wanted to ride some water rides, but they seem to be closed during our visit.

TIA again! :thumbsup2

I went on a weekday in the off-season and would confidently say I was one of less than 2,000 people in the park. It was empty!!! You'll be going on a Saturday so I'd expect more, but it's nothing like Disneyland. We went on everything in a matter of three hours I'd say. I haven't gone on a Saturday though so I can't really comment.

As far as the "pooh-sized" issue, I'm not sure. I can tell you that my husband is 6'5", 250 lbs. and was unable to ride a few of the rides because he is so tall. The Sierra Sidewinder and Pony Express were complete no-go's (we waited in line, went to sit down, couldn't, and sheepishly had to walk away) , but several others were "touch and go". Ghostrider was very uncomfortable as well. Now, again, that's for height. I'm not sure how your pooh-sized friend is "built".
