Questions about HoJo Premium Rooms

We've got reservations for a Premium Room Disney View in late May/early June. I've read some comments about the freeway noise being bothersome to some guests. For those of you who have stayed in these rooms, does the noise affect these rooms or is that for other buildings?

We arrive mid afternoon and our plans are to visit Downtown Disney on that day, then the parks beginning the next day. On that first evening we plan to just sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks. How well can you see them?

When I made the reservations, I was told that there was no microwave in these rooms, but I am almost positive I saw one in a video. It's not at all crucial, but are there microwaves in these rooms?

Yes, there are microwaves in the premium rooms. For building one, the freeway noise is less on the Disney (premium view) side than it is on the kids room suites, etc. side, but for us, who live in a small city with little traffic noise, the freeway noise is not bothersome. There is an ebb and flow to it but we actually find it kind of soothing. In the premium side, we don't even notice it. Now that they have trimmed some of the trees down, you can view the fireworks a fair amount, they are lovely.

Have a great stay, you will love it there!

Hi, we have stayed in a 6th floor disney facing room. Yes, we found the freeway noise loud, but it didn't annoy us as such or stop us from sleeping ( and we live rurally in NZ with no noise or light other than the moon at night).
This year we are going to try a building 2 room though.

...the second or third floor and I had to wear earplugs. At the time my parents had the adjoining room (so one room over) and did not notice the noise. They just returned from a second trip and had an end room this time but a few floors higher and this time found it very bothersome. We both live in quiet areas in our small city.

We have opted to move to building two this time.

There was microwave, coffee maker and fridge.

I don't remember hearing any freeway noise at all but I am also not a light sleeper
