How bad could the weather be in January?
Where are the smoking areas?
Can you smoke on the balconies at HH?
Will a Disney hater like it?
If you were pre-disposed to have a bad time, what would you choose not to like?

January will be pleasant but cool. Temps will be in the 50's-60's. The pools are heated though.

No, smoking is not allowed on balconies - only in the designated smoking areas.

I'm not able to answer your other 2 questions!

Where are the smoking areas? They are scattered around, as a former smoker I never thought they were too far away
Can you smoke on the balconies at HH? No you cant
Will a Disney hater like it? Other than a topiary as you enter, very little "Disney" is in your face.
If you were pre-disposed to have a bad time, what would you choose not to like? In January... the weather, too quiet, the weather lol

If they decide to go, I will request Live Oak Lodge. It will be best for both my sister's smoking and mobility issues.

As for the weather, I may complain about it myself. LOL
But hey, its my choice.

I know about the topiary as well as the great Mickey statue in the lobby.
