I booked online yesterday for my upcoming October trip. Should I have received my email confirmation by now?

Also when I booked online the site only allowed me to book my towncar for the trip to WDW and did not ask for my departure info. Is this normal? Do they call and ask for your return info?

And one last question has anyone faxed a grocery list to Happy Limo? Would you do it again or do the grocery stop?

I'm sorry ask so many questions but I really value all the advice given here!!!

Thanks!

We're using Happy Limo for the first time this summer too. I called on 6/1 and booked via phone. I was told that I would get an email conf. Didn't have conf by Thurs. night, so I sent an email to their reservation site. They responded with the following:

"Due to a high call volume matched with a computer system glitch, we are a day behind on the processing of all reservations. You should receive your confirmation emails with in the next 48 hours."

I got my email conf yesterday afternoon--within the 48 hr. time frame. I thought they would meet us at the baggage claim at MCO, but the info we received said we have to call them when we get to baggage claim and they will then meet us within 5-6 min. on level one. I'm not too happy about this. I guess I didn't do enough research. I might rethink my ground transportation.

Please keep me posted on this. I do have until Oct to change limo companies. I thought they pick you up at baggage claim! What a bummer!

they will pick you up at the baggage area if you wish. i asked about this when i made our july ressies. i was told that it would take longer to leave because the driver will then take you to the pick-up area and then go and retrieve the car. if you call them at their toll free number while you are at the baggage claim they will tell you where to go and the car will be waiting.

hope this helps

I had the same issue with Happy Limo. I called in my dates and was told I would receive my confirmation email in 24 hours or less. I received an email for the trip to the hotel the next day. Where is my return trip, I thought they forgot about it. I received the email 2 days later.

I have since reconsidered Happy Limo and went with Transportation2disney. I was glad I did as the Happy Limo person was rude when I called to cancel. (maybe she was having a bad day) I was canceled because "I did not feel confortable" with the company. I am sure Happy Limo is a fine company as it is recommended on Debs site.

Have a great trip.

We used www.southernelegancelimousines.com and they were Fabulous! they pick you up right inside baggage claim with a board with your name on and our driver, George was really friendly.

The limo was gorgeous. It had Lilo & Stitch DVD for the kids to watch and soft drinks & water on ice. There was also a *HUGE* soft toy Mickey Mouse in the limo which was a lovely added touch.

Highly recommended by me - plus it's quite hard to beat their good value.

We used Happy Limo this past February and were extremely happy with them. Our driver met us at the baggage claim area and had the limo waiting right outside--I think it has something to do with being on the A or B side as to whether they can leave the limo outside or if they have to retrieve it. Our driver was very polite and informative, and was especially good with our kids (ages 9 & 12). We had a grocery stop at Albertson's for soda and snacks while he waited curbside. There were Disney DVD's for the kids to watch on our ride to CSR.

Our return trip went just as well, with the driver even showing up a bit early, which was fine because it was POURING rain and the traffic was heavy.

I would absolutely recommend Happy Limo and definitely plan on using them again.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that they asked us ahead of time what kind fo beverages we'd like the limo stocked with--which was great because one son loves pink lemonade and the other likes rootbeer. If they hadn't asked, I'm sure they wouldn't have normally had those. And it made the kids feel so special. They also had a digital camera for us to use on the drive, which transferred the pictures directly to a disk we could pop in our computer. Those pictures were some of the best from our trip!

We used Happy Limo (or as we now call it...UN-Happy Limo) in April. We took Amtrak and had scheduled Happy Limo to pick us up at the station. Several hours before we were scheduled to arrive, it became apparent that our train would be late. We called Happy Limo to let them know (and were told they already knew and had been tracking our train's progress).

When we did arrive at Orlando station two hours late, Happy Limo was not there. We waited about 15 minutes and then called. They said they HAD been there when the train was originally supposed to arrive but had left when it was late and were not planning to return.

They had a driver in the area and sent him over. When he arrived, he was VERY surly and said, "This ruined my day!". The whole way from the Orlando station to WL he was cold and rude. It was an EXTREMELY uncomfortable ride.

We will NOT use their service again.
