Questions about Free Dining/credits?

We are going to be staying at POR Aug. 30-Sept 6. I got free dining for those dates. Hwever, I only bought the 6 day park hopper tickets for our family since the first and last days will be "travel days". So, since we are staying 7 nights, but only have 6 day tickets, do we have 7 days of "free dining" or 6 days? Also, are those free dining meals issued as credits just like with the regular dining plans?

Also, should I be making reservations now??? HELP?!?

You will have free dining for the number of nights you are staying. You will have 7 days of dining. The credits will be issued on your room card. I would suggest that you do make reservations now. I am also going for free dining and I have made all my reservations.

Make your ADR's asap. During free dining, everything books up quick.

The dining plan is tied to the length of your resort stay, not to your tickets.

And you should most definitely start thinking about reservations.

You will have 7 credits per person per category (TS, CS, and snack).

They are available from the moment you check in until midnight the day you check out.

If you are there one day less than night, then you can just use some of your credits your first or last day, or do two of a category in one day.

Definately make reservations NOW. Be flexible about times and days, and don't over look lunch time slots.
