Questions about FOTL??

Hi to all, I will be arriving at the RPR on august 25, just me and my 3 kids. ages 16,14,11. we are all so very excited, the one thing that seems really worth staying on sight is FOTL, can anyone tell me a little about how this works I know you get a room key, do all the kids get a key? and are there 2 lines on each ride. Also Iwas reading about how people with FOTL only waited 15 min. on a 60 minute line, Wow is that really true because we all know how hot it will be and that will be wonderful. Also one other ? I plan on using my credit card for all my purchases, I read some people use ther room key and alot a certian amount of money each day, but what happens if you go over that amount?? I think I would rather just use my credit card that won't be a problem right? Thanks, Deby

You will LOVE FOTL - Almost all the rides have it - Pteradon flyers is the only one I can think of that doesn't. It is a separate line and you will hardly wait at all. Yes, everyone in your party has to have one, we just held the kids. We waited maybe 10 minutes for the Shrek ride, and the posted time was 135 minutes! Everything was either a walk on or a 5 - 10 minute wait. Enjoy!

We just charged everything to the room that was held with the credit card. Ask about a limit when you check in. otherwise your room key will do it all. have a great time. The FOTL access was great. When you are going, you will probably have little or no wait at all.

It makes your vacation, truly. As for charging to your room key, when you check in they will ask you how much of a hold per day you want to put. I believe there are 3 tiers, $100, $250 or $500. So if you are staying 4 days they will put a $400 hold if you choose that tier. Now once you go over, the place where you are making that purchase would just need to call the front desk for approval. The front desk would put an additional amount on hold and viola---keep on spending.

We were there in July and some rides had a 70 minute wait and we never waited at all for any ride. This is the greatest thing ever invented!!!! Even the 4 yo and 6 yo had there own card and thought they were really cool beacause they had a card just like the 18 yo.

My 3 year old acted the same way. He kept saying "Daddy, I feel like Mickey Mouse walking through all these crowds..... Go figure in his eyes, the mouse is as VIP as you can get....LOL

We just returned and all of us got a room key, at the front desk we asked Pia, who checked us in to punch holes in the keys..... she did and we put them on lanyards............. this made it sooooo much easier and was very very convenient. A few people even asked where they could get them! The fotl is the BEST thing ever.......... most days while we were there the line for shrek was 180 min. or more......... and we rode it very very quickly. As far as the money on the room key........ We did that, and it worked out extremely well for us. We also had some packages sent back to the room........... but, wouldn't do that again, as the packages arrived 2 days later........ we could've just picked them up on our way back to the hotel........ and not had to wait....... just a tip! Anyway have a great time..........
