I have only flown once and that was just dh and I, this time it will be dh, me, dd, and ds. We are thinking about moving our Disney trip up from 2007 to 2006. Our trip would be the last week of Nov and part of the first week of Dec. Here are the questions I have
What could I expect to approx pay to fly roundtrip Southwest nonstop out of Buffalo? (it only shows to Aug on the website)
Is it a lot cheaper to fly out of Buffalo instead of Toronto?
Is it cheaper to fly out on a weekday instead of a Sat or Sun?
What do we do with our car? How much does this cost?
If we choose to stay in a hotel the night before our fly what are our options close to the airport?
Will we need passporters when we cross the boarder?
Anything else I need to know?

Please HELP

Thanks

Hi-I would like to know too! We will be going about the same time as you-our first time also.

To fly out of Toronto at least for may this year it was about 499 return with the taxes a person! We booked with SW flying out of buffalo for may 1 and got it for 89 a person plus 28 dollars tax pp total for 4 of us non stop return was 742.40 us with exchange rate around 800 canadian give or take. We live in burlington so we are driving there the night before and staying by the airport there is alot of hotels right there who offer free shuttle and a min fee to keep your car their while away so thats what we are doing. The cost of the hotel depends on which one I priced them from 69 to 100 a night not sure what the fee is to leave your car there but I have read on here its not much some also include it in the room cost. You only need a picture I.D and a birth certificate as of right now to cross in 2007 that is when the passport comes into effect. The price for our flight didnt matter with what day we flew out on I went with the internet price as it was the cheapest if I need to cancle I dont get a refund but I do get a credit for future flying within the year .. hope that helps abit

I have found BUF to be at least 1/2 the price of Pearson. BUT - the dates you are suggesting fall right near US Thanksgiving - I think it is Nov 23rd. So, you might be impacted by that - just something to keep in mind when finalizing your dates. We are on the Magic on Nov 25th and I am trying to decide btwn BUF and YYZ using our Airmiles - mostly because I am worried about the whole Thanksgiving thing.

I booked a friends flight out of BUF on SW right around that time for $41.02 each way on a ding fare.. I really think that it will save you SO much $$ going this way it and as an added bonus the airport is less confusing than T.O.
We stayed at the Holiday inn express last time and it was really nice

good luck!

It is my understanding that SWAs prices are the least for Tues/Wed/Sat flights.

The last two years we stayed at the Comfort Suites on Dick Rd. It cost $89 US plus tax and included a room, breakfast, 2 weeks parking and shuttle to/from airport. We really like this hotel. I called the other day to enquire about this December and was told the rate was now $99/nt. Since we like this hotel I think we will book it again even though it is $10 higher.

We just booked for April/May with SWA - $900 for a family of 4 from BUF - MCO Rtn

Driving down the night before and staying at the Best Western Norstar Inn ($109) includes parking there for 10 days.
