Hi. I saw the recent news about dated tickets coming soon, and am not sure how best to proceed given two quickly approaching upcoming trips we have planned. We are Florida residents who have previously bought the silver passes. I have one trip (just me) with some friends the weekend of October 12th and then another trip for my daughter's birthday Nov 8-12th. My plan was to buy my new Silver Pass today or tomorrow (so I can get a few Fast Passes in place) and I was going to wait to get my kids new Silver Passes in November (unless the consensus is I should buy those now).
I had also planned for us to take two more small trips January 5-7th and then in March during our Spring Break. I suspect it is a no-brainer for me to buy my own Silver Pass now because I will be able to use it prior to the changes going into effect with my first day of use being Friday, October 12th. Am I correct that the blackout dates currently posted are unlikely to change if I have bought and used the ticket prior to any announced changes? Secondly, since my kids trip will not be until November (after the changes go into effect), is it possible that any pre-purchased but not yet used Silver Passes could have a different black out date applied? I am not concerned about summer or Galaxy's Edge. But I would like to know whether my January and March trips would be "secure" with a Silver Pass bought prior to the changes. Or should I just buy myself the Silver Pass now and then buy a 4 Day select for my 2 kids for the November kids trip now knowing I could possibly upgrade to a Silver Pass if it still exists?
