Questions about fishing at WDW

My DH wouldn't consider our trip a real trip unless we did some fishing and I was wondering a few things:

1. How soon should we book a guided excursion? (we are going in November)

2. How is the fishing in November?

3. Do we have to find our own way to the marina if we book an early morning excursion? (we are staying at POFQ)

mmmmm we booked for the second week of June two weeks ago.

as to how it is... I have no idea...first time here

The boats leave from several places... I am not sure about the POFQ - I would suggest calling the WDW PLAY line

You can book the guided excursions starting at 90 days out. I've done the one from the Boardwalk at 7 or 7:30AM 4 times and it is incredible. The 7:30 trip gets you into the WS Lagoon in Epcot and wold be worth it even of you didnt catch a fish.

They hold fishing tournaments on the Seven Seas lagoon and Bay Lake. Fishing is catch and release.
