We are going to DHS on a night with Fantasmic scheduled for 7:30 and EMH from 7 to 9 pm. We are staying on property.

1) How do we book the Fantasmic Dining Package?
2) Where do we sit for F! if we have the dining package?
3) What time do you recommend for a dinner ADR?
And 4) If we don't eat before F! do you think we'll be able to get an ADR for after (during the EMH)?

When you make your ADRs, there is a specific one for the Fantasmic package (you will chose Brown Derby, Hollywood & Vine or Mama Melrose). Make sure you select the Fantasmic package and not just a normal ADR, or you will not get the passes for the show. They are completely separate reservations.

Someone has a map of the seating that I have seen, but basically the center section in the theater is reserved for the dining package. To the left of that is fastpass, and to the right is everyone else.

The times for a dinner ADR are limited to fairly early times, so you won't have a lot of choice. My guess is you will be eating no later than 5:00 or 5:30, maybe even earlier with a 7:30 show.

Sorry, no idea on the last question - but I'm sure others have either done it or failed trying and will chime in.

FWIW, we did the dining package the last time we were there, and thought that the seating area was awesome. We had a great view of the show. I would rate it better than the FP+ area myself.

The times are odd and whether you can eat after depends on park hours for that day. I booked it on the web via computer. I was unable to see it via the app.

The F! dining package exists to fill restaurant spaces in non-prime dining hours. So don't expect a 5:00 dinner for a 7:30 show. More like a 3:45 dinner.

Just to give you an idea of times, I booked right on our 180 day mark at 6:00 am, and the latest dining I could get was 5:35 pm - but that was for a 9:00 pm show.

1. As previously described, when you click on Make Dining Reservations, scroll down till you get to the Fantasmic Dinner Package. After you select that, then pick your restaurant from the drop down menu.

2. FDP is in the center section of the theatre.

3. Dinners are normally during off peak hours in the afternoon. Rarely will you get one with. 3 hours of showtime. The package is also available for lunch at these restaurants. Since I abhor eating dinner in the afternoon, we usually opt for a nice leisurely lunch instead, and then grab CS after the show.

4. I've never heard of the FDP being available after the show, only before. I'm not sure how late regular ADRs go on EMH nights. You'd have to check.

I just changed my reservation from 5:15 to 6:15 on a 9:00 show night. I couldn't believe my eyes when that popped up, but there it was! I agree with the PP that this kind of "close to show" time is rare!!

We booked 330 at Brown Derby for the F! package and are going to use it as a late lunch. We are coming from another time zone so it's not that off from our normal lunch that a few snacks won't hold us over.
