never been in the fall before. whohooooooo can't wait to go! :cool1:

anyway, here are my questions:

a) when can i expect to hear info on the 2014 MNSSHP.
b) is Thursday or Friday a better day to tour the Magic Kingdom? Epcot?

We are travelling Wed Oct 22 to Fri Oct 31st We won't have much time on our arrival day, to do anything other than check in, 1900 Park Fare dinner, and maybe catch the MK fireworks from the beach at GF. (is that a good spot?) If we are lucky enough maybe we can sneak into the MK to walk Main Street, and maybe even take a train ride around the park before dinner.

Then we need to decide if we go to MK on Thurs or on Fri. By default, EP will be the Opposite Day. Even though I expect the parties to be on Thurs and fri resulting in an early leave from MK, i would imagine it is better than crows on Sat at MK...assuming the park is open later.

anyway i am totally completely over thinking all ofthis. But I am responsible for making all the decisions according to my family. argh.

I hope to be there about the same time! I went in the fam in 2008 and it was great. I believe MNSSHP tickets went in sale in July, but I could totally be wrong and it's also been 6 years so they could have changed. Regarding which days is best to visit which park, I typically follow easywdw.com recommended parks. Josh's info is free but since Oct operating hours haven't been released yet he doesn't have an updated calendar. At least he didn't yesterday when I was looking. I believe the park hours are done prior to the 180 day mark tho so you should be able to see the most recommended park and then do ADRs. Happy planning!

Fall is in our opinion the BEST time to go. We just went Oct 29th -November 09the this past year and we loved it. The weather was perfect! The crowds were low. We just loved it and will look to go again the same time.

We did not love the MNSSHP but I know many people love it so it is really an individual thing. We found the party night to be very crowded and not worth the money.

We liked seeing the park decorated for Halloween but you can see that any night or day in September/October. The parade was really cool but we just did not think it was worth it. Glad we did it once but we personally will not do it again.

We are super eager to go again this year during the same time though. Have fun.::MinnieMo::MinnieMo::MinnieMo::MinnieMo::MinnieMo::MinnieMo::MinnieMo
