I thought I understood everything back in august. But now I'm confused!:confused3
My dd is getting married (escape) in sept. We've booked SBP for 10:00 and thats all set.
but thats all.
Questions: and I hate asking all this but maybe it will also help someone else!
feel free to answer one or any of the questions!
1.20 guests-if we use a Disney recommended officiant they don't count in our 20?
2.GUESTS passing the sbp can watch the wedding if they want? read between the lines...(family?)
3.If I make the flower girl wands or ribbon wands(and/or bridesmaids bouquet)
do I have to pay disney a fee like I had an outside vendor?
4.Escape wedding- can escape brides have the dessert party?
and can it be for more than the 20 allowed at the wedding? about 30
5.Do I have to have the charter bus-everyone is staying on property.
6.Can she wear her dress to the dessert party if its the same day as the wedding?(its not really a bridal gown just a long fancy evening gown that she fell in love with, she actually bought 2 of them a year ago in different sizes just in case- I know we could alter one so that its not long-allowing it
to be worn in the park-keep the photos above the knees!)
any info would be great! thanks so much. Robin:)

Hi!
I only have answer for Q1:
No, the officiant doesn't count towards your 20, if you use the ones recommended by Disney.

Congratulations on your DD event!

If you use a Disney officiant they do not count in your 18 guests, since they will leave after the ceremony is over. If you decided to bring in your own officiant, they will count as a guest.

2.GUESTS passing the sbp can watch the wedding if they want? read between the lines...(family?)

People passing by can see the wedding, but I would assume that DFTW (Planner) won't just have people standing there watching the entire event, they truly want you to have privacy. An idea to get around this is if you decide to go with video, I know Stan at STVS offers live stream video of the ceremony. You would only need a computer and internet connection to be able to watch it.

4.Escape wedding- can escape brides have the dessert party?

Yes, Escape brides can have a dessert party. You can have as many people at the location as you want. Just make sure to tell your Planner how many, so they can match you up with the applicable location based on guest count. There are no limitations to this since it is OUTSIDE of your Escape package.

5.Do I have to have the charter bus-everyone is staying on property.

I think from reading on the boards this isn't mandatory but it seems it all depends on who you get your answer from at DFTW. Perhaps others will chime in for you soon. :)

Yes, as long as you are escorted in you can wear the dress. But be prepared in order to do it Disney says you have to have the charter bus bring everyone in.

i have no answers for you..But I LOVE your username!!!

Everything Honey posted sounds right on to me! As for the charter bus for the dessert party I believe that some of the brides have gotten around this by having their group meet at the front of the park and escorted back from there. I believe anyone in wedding attire (mainly the bride) has to go in through the back... the escape package includes a limo and I would imagine you could use this to get to the dessert party. Good luck!
