HI.

Recently spent the last 2 visits at Disneyland at the Disneyland Hotel - Adventure Tower - Premium Pool View. Both visits the rooms were great. 7th (Oct. 2016) and 8th (Aug. 2017)floors of Adventure Tower with a nice pool view very quiet.
Years ago about 10+ years ago, we had a Downtown Disney View and it was noisy- the band spot which was moved inward was very very close and loud. The band played until like 10 or 11.
I was thinking about for our next trip in the summer that I would get a Downtown Disney View.

I would like to know if anyone has recently had a Downtown Disney view in the Adventure Tower -- was it noisy? quiet? hear the band? how was your room? see the fireworks?

I love the Adventure Tower best at the Disneyland Hotel!

We recently stayed in the Adventure Tower. We had a standard view room, but it was close to the Downtown Disney entrance. The band was definitely loud. If you plan on heading to bed before they stop playing for the night, you might have trouble falling asleep with all the noise. It wasn't a problem for us, because we were out until late each night.

I remember having a DTD view where it was loud, but that was back when they had the sliding door with the false "balcony". We had to shut the slider and it was still bass pounding noise. The new windows are quieter than the old sliders, but i haven't had a DTD view since. The pool view is nice though.

DTD view on lower floors can be loud til 11 or so. Higher floors (8 and above) are barely noticeable.

We've stayed in adventure tower twice with a DTD view. 7th floor was louder but was closer to the end of the building closest to downtown. 5th floor room was more in the middle and didn't hear band as much.

thanks all! Just how noisy is it? When does the band stop playing usually?
I am assuming the higher floors are quieter.
Yes I had a room way back with the old balcony. Think 2006 or earlier.

Yes, higher floors are quieter. But 8 and above are Premium rooms, while 4-7 are deluxe rooms.

When we've had DTD views, we can hear the music but the noise doesn't bother us. To me, it's no louder than someone with a TV volume up in the next room.

Thanks.
I do not see Deluxe/Downtown Disney on the Disneyland website. A deluxe view says pool view. Deluxe would be pool view in Frontier or Fantasy Towers. Then there is premium View Pool which I believe is a high floor in Adventure Tower with a pool. But there is only Downtown Disney Premium View.

When I book I am going to book Downtown Disney Premium View and request a high floor in Adventure Tower. As far as the noise, we will be in the parks until 10 or 11 so we should be fine. I just remember the blaring music in the Dreams Tower (which is now Adventure Tower and was the original Sierra Tower). I know the windows from all replaced and the small balconies removed during renovations.
