Questions about discounts for College Program

Hi All! My daughter has been accepted into the CP for Fall 2012. We are so excited!! I have a few questions that I'm sure have been asked and answered before, but here goes anyway.

What are the room and ticket discounts for CP interns?
What are the blackout dates?
Can she book more than one room with her discount?

I would like to plan a trip to see her while she is there, and I'm trying to decide the best time to go. We would need more than one room, so I was wondering if it's possible for her to book more than one room. Also, I know she can use a Main Gate pass for free entry for herself and 3 friends or family members up to 6 times during her internship. Are these consecutive or individual days?

I'm afraid that I don't have much information, but I'll answer as much as I can! The room and ticket discounts can vary, depending on where you stay and at one type of year. I've read somewhere that you can get as much as 50% off if your daughter stays in the room with you. As far as I know, you can book multiple rooms with the discount. And those days are individual, but it would be hard to get them consecutively, as she will have to work while you are there. Sorry I can't answer all of your questions!

The discount varies based upon the location and rooms. But if she stays with you you'll get a better discount, but only on the room she stays in, the other rooms get the lesser discount.

There are no black-out dates, but it is a first-come first-served basis of rooms available at that discount. Usually though you can get into at least one of the values.

Thanks! I had heard that the discount would be 50% if she stayed in the room...but I wasn't sure. I was hoping to book a Moderate or Deluxe since we always stay at a Value. I thought with the discount we may be able to stay somewhere we don't usually stay. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

My daughter is in CP right now, Spring Advantage until Aug 10. We have been pricing some different scenarios for a trip we are planning. The discount for her staying with us is 50% off rack rate for Deluxe. Her friends from college came and stayed last week and she was able to book ASM, staying in the room with them for 50% off, however, she could not book the Value for the weekend. That's all I know! Looks like a pretty sweet discount!

As for tickets she will get a main entrance pass which is good for admitting herself plus 3 guests six times over the course of her program.

Then she will also be eligible for discounted tickets that usually ends up making non-Florida residents pay Florida resident rates.

If she doesn't stay with you it's up to 40% off. But really it's fun to go stay with your family and to be somewhere other than your apartment! When my family came to visit me we stayed at fort wilderness cabins and it was so much fun being with my family and getting to spend time with them and even though I was working somedays, it was like I was on vacation too
She needs to book the reservation for you as its done through the hub or you don't get the discount. I think I either gave my mom my password or she gave me or card info. I can't remember lol. She also needs to be there to check you in because her ID needs to be shown, but she can check in before you guys get there, and then you can stop and get the room Keyes when you arrive. I got to the resort before my family, and I checked in and went to the cabin and set out the presents I had gotten them so that they would see them when they came in.
