I was reading that they charge 10% gratuity in the food court? Why is this?

I also noticed a limit on kids' items- just a waffle on kids' breakfast menu. And no grilled cheese or mac n' cheese? Sorry, I have a son who is VERY picky, so that's something we need to think about. I was wondering if the menu had been updated.

And how warm is the pool kept? I've heard some of them have been really cold lately. That's not a huge issue, since the hot tub seats 22 people.

Are refrigerators complimentary?

Which building would be closest to dining and bus stops?

I was reading that they charge 10% gratuity in the food court? Why is this? the Pepper Market is like going to a Chinese buffet. They will seat you, get your drinks and condiments and bus your table. You get real plates, napkins and silverware too.

Pepper market very good for a picky eater because you can pick and choose individual items as well

I was wondering if the menu had been updated. - went with my two nephews who are picky eaters and they had no trouble findings things they enjoyed. there is so much to choose from and the menu is just the basic items. The PM has daily specials every day that are not on the permanent menu.

Which building would be closest to dining and bus stops? - there are a few that would meet you needs but cabana 9b meets all needs. casita 1 & 3 are close to the main building.

Here are some good choices... Check out my website below.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is also a smoking optional building.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building.

Trying to decide where to stay next summer and this is an issue!!!

Yes but I don't remember the exact date it started. All moderates now have a complimentary refridgerator.

I think I read somewhere that although they are free, you have to request it.

Was just at CSR in April -- beautiful resort. It's now my favorite of the moderate catagory.

All rooms have a complimentary fridge and coffee makers.
There is a curtain you can draw to separate the sleeping area w. bathroom and dressing area.

Pepper Market doesn't charge graduity if you get items to go. You get A LOT of food for the $$$. Plus its nice having real plates, utencils and cloth napkins. There are all kinds of stations -- pasta, mexican, chinese, a grill to name a few.

The pools were warm when we went.

Does anyone know if they'll let you split entrees? I wouldn't see why not if they give you that much food.
