Hi. First, is there a break between lunch and dinner? I have a 4pm is that the start of dinner meaning the place won't be crowded quite yet?
Second, i saw a pic of the Yule Log, do they always have that? I'll be going during Holiday time.

Thank you!

Lunch ends at 3 and dinner starts at 4. The only bad thing about that dinner seating is that we have waited forever to be seated because it seems like the hosts (who are your servers?) come announce you, get you settled before going back and getting the next party (who might also have that first seating time). Just FYI.

I dunno about the yule log. I have been there twice in early December and never saw anything but the regular desserts.

guess we should check in early! We are going there after watching the 3pm parade so we should have time to go early.

We had a 4pm dinner there last August. When we were seated (right at 4, we had checked in about 15 min. early) the place was already full. They definitely hadn't cleared out the place between lunch and dinner. This was during free dining though. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.:confused3

I have a 2:45 and I doubt highly that we'll be out by 4:00. We probably won't get in right at 2:45 and by the time you eat and see all the characters an hour and a half has flown by!!

Have fun!! It's a great place to eat!!!

I have an ADR for December 2nd (before going to MVMCP) for 3.50pm. Where does that leave me. I assume it is a dinner reservation (that is what I asked for) but is the menu different for lunch and dinner? Will we be left with the 'old' lunch food at the beginning of our time in the restaurant. I wanted an early ADR to get a flyng start on MVMCP but perhaps I have made a mistake:confused3

You will be fine the menu between lunch and dinner is not much different except they add more to the dinner menu. The transion from lunch to dinner is just a easy roll in.

I agree.
We did this before the P&P party. Our reservation was at 4 and they were constantly replenishing the food.

the last lunch seating is at 2:45 and dinner begins seating at 3:00, so technically there is a break between lunch and dinner, but you'd never really notice.

That's really odd. I confirmed the meal hours at allears and I really never thought they shut down totally, just that they took a break from seating people from 3 to 4. It was really clear that they were not seating anyone until 4 p.m. - tons of people waiting, we checked in at 10 or 15 minutes early as we usually do, they swung the front doors open and made a production of starting seating. Maybe it varies with the season?

Maybe.:confused3 I was there during free dining and they were turning people away right and left from the TS restaurants. So, it was definitely a very busy time as far as the restaurants were concerned.
