According to wdwinfo.com, child swap works like this:
However, when we went last Dec. it was different. The part of the party without the child had to go through the regular line. Then, they would allow the other part of the party to go through the fast past line. Sometimes, we still had to wait in the fast past line 20-30 minutes. Anyway, according to the above info, EVERYONE waits in line together and then swaps off right after the first riders are off the ride. Does anyone know if they changed to the above or is that info incorrect?
First, check that it's offered at the theme park attraction. The Disney Cast Member will then instruct you to enter the queue. Once you're at the boarding area, let the Cast Member know that you want to "child swap." They'll show you where to wait while the rest of your party enjoys the ride. Once they get back, you hand the little guy over to them and you get your turn without having to get back on the line.
