My daughter is there now with our car and we had to get her FL car insurance. Now we are having a problem because her car registration and her drivers liscence are up in April. We live in PA. Does anyone know how she can keep her PA registration? she can't really fly home just to get her picture taken for her liscence and we don't want to register her car in FL. Has anyone dealt with this before???

Renewing her drivers license and registration can both be done online or by mail.

the problem is that renewing online (or by mail) in PA means they send you a camera card and then you go to the DMV and have your picture taken. They give you your new liscence then on the spot. She can't fly home for one day to get her picture taken, that would cost a fortune. Also, she can renew her registration by mail or online but it is tied to her inspection so her inspection will run out in april while she is down there. she won't be able to drive all the way back to get her car inspected either.
