This is our first DVC trip that we'll be visiting the parks. Before DVC, I got hotel, food, and tickets all through the Disney website. Now, I feel like everything is in pieced. I have VWL booked, and I did DDP through Member Services. How do I do tickets? Do I just wait until check-in? Do they cost the same as through the Disney website? I know they'll be on my KTTW card, but I haven't figured out the best way to get them.

Thanks,
Audrey

If you are going to buy APs, just buy them when you get to WDW. Otherwise, the cheapest I found is at undercovertourist.com. I purchased 3 MYW (no expiration, park hopper, + water parks) for around $525 per ticket. That included tax and shipping. Through Disney, the same ticket would have been over $570. :thumbsup2

You can buy them from anyone you want, including resellers like those you might find on Mousesavers.com.

But if you think you might make more than one trip during a 365 day period (and more than ten - twelve days total), you might want to consider a DVC AP. You can order the voucher from the DVC website OR buy it directly when you arrive at one of the Guest Services offices at the theme parks or DTD. All you need is photo ID for all adults and your blue members card.

We usually get the PAP and try to schedule our trips so they fall just barely within the 365 period. For example last year we arrived on June 7. This year we leave on June 6.

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, we can't do annual passes, because DH's vacation time next year is uncertain.

I'll be getting 8 day park hopper passes. On undercovertourist, the total was 835, but on the disney site, it's 808. Unless I'm missing something.

If I get my tickets at checkin, will it be the same price as on the disney website?

EDITED***

I went to Mousesavers after posting, and saw their note that undercover tourist includes taxes and shipping, while the disney site doesn't. Our total at UT stands at 835, while Disney is 860.

Thanks Guys!
