questions about bounceback offers

We are staying at POR in June, hubby just made my whole year by saying he wants to go back in Oct. for Mickey's Halloween party using our GAD vouchers. So when we are there in June we might go ahead and book for Oct. However we would want to stay deluxe and only for 2 nights. Do the bouncebacks usually have a minimum night stay? Do they have to be packages? We would just want to book a room. What are the typical offers on a bounceback?
Thanks for all your help, I am so stinking excited!

If you go in June, you won't have bouncback for the Fall. BB are done for the following year. So if anything, you'll see an offer for June 2011...

We went this past June 09 and while we were there we booked a bouncback for Dec09 (fall dates were also included).
Not sure if there is a minimum stay. We were able to book a room only. We later added tickets and dining. :)

I'm not sure where you heard that, but the Bouncebacks are for the current year. This year has been exceptional in that the BB has been for the entire calendar year 2010, with several blackout periods. (previously, the booking period would typically cover only 2-3 months of the same year.)

To the OP, if the current BB offer is still available when you check-in, October dates should be available. There is no minimum stay; as always, it's subject to availability. The offer is for room only (which is what you want), but can also be made into a package if needed. :)

The current offer includes most of the rest of 2010: Easter weekend and Thanksgiving weekend are blacked out and the offer ends on 12/24/2010. Just make sure you call extension 8844 from your resort room before you check out. :thumbsup2 There should be a flyer in your room at POR; if not, call 8844 and tell them you want to book the "future stay offer". Good luck!

:goodvibes I agree with RachelTori above - based on previous years, in June you will probably get the current BB with room discounts through the end of this year. The BB offers with next years dates probably won't start until the Free Dining period in August (to be able to book Free Dining for next year) and then the BB that starts after that (probably sometime in Oct/Nov) will have room discounts with dates that include next year.....

Current BB info is:

Seahunt, it looks like the Deluxe Villas BB ends 9/30. We are hoping for October...does anyone know if this is being extended? I will be at WL next week and was hoping to book a BB for the villas.

Ok - probably a very silly question...but...we are going in may and also have a trip booked for nov. when we go in may would we be able to apply a BB deal to the already booked nov trip???

Cheesemouse you can try it doesn't hurt to ask.... I mean give a call and see if they will apply it to your reservation and if not see if they have your dates and resort available and rebook. :thumbsup2

If you used a travel agent to book your Nov trip, you will have to have the travel agent book the bounceback trip or cancel your existing reservation. I had problems trying to do it myself and had to have my travel agent handle it. Hope this helps.
