Questions about Bonnet Creek

My sister in law was gracious enough to gift us a week at Bonnet Creek. We are so excited! The resort looks very nice and is close to most of the parks. We are Disney vets and have stayed both on property and off.

I'm looking for any info on the resort. What are some good locations to be in proximity of the pool, how do we go about requesting specific room locations, do we pay for shuttle service, etc. This isn't my SIL's home resort (we booked through RCI) so are they going to grant room requests?

We booked a one bedroom. Does anyone have pics of a one bedroom condo? I've only been able to find pics of the 2 bedrooms.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

Not sure about room requests - but the front desk staff is very helpful so don't be afraid to call and ask them. Nothing is more than a short walk from the pools so don't worry about that. Don't have a pic of 1BR. See some of the above threads re: other things at BCR. The shuttles are great - they are free and go multiple times to all the parks. There are many things for the kids at BCR. Minigolf, playground, sand volleyball, crafts, arcade, kiddie pools, ice cream parties. You'll love it there. Very close to all the parks. It's esentially like staying on Disney property without staying at a Disney resort.

Great RCI trade!!! Go to the Wyndham Vacation Resorts website and click on Florida on the map. Then find the link to Wyndham Bonnet Creek. There, you'll find info about all the of the activities and there's a resort map that shows the layout of the buildings and pool areas. To make a room location request (not guaranteed and owners staying on points will get first preferences), call the resort directly, less than a week before you are scheduled to arrive.

Shuttle service to the Disney parks and Downtown Disney is free of charge. Make sure you look over the current shuttle schedule and pick-up locations when you arrive. If you want to book seats on the shuttles to Universal's parks or Sea World, there's a fee for those.

As for pictures of the 1BRs, they look exactly like the 2BRs but without the 2nd BR and 2nd bath - same layout, same furnishings. Enjoy!!!!
