Questions about Bonnet Creek

I have friends going to Disney when we go in Jan. and they have switched from POP to Bonnet Creek since their inlaws said they can use a time share week. How is this resort and how is the shuttle service to the parks? They are trying to decide if they should rent a car or use the shuttle service. Thanks so much

I would rent a car. Disney transportation, at every 20 minutes, is only marginally acceptable to me. Bonnet Creek's is less frequent than that.

We always rent a car because we like to go places offsite...Today we went on an airboat at Boggy Creek Airboats (yes we saw gators).

We just love this resort...so glad we bought here!

We were just at Bonnet Creek November 16 - 23rd. It was great. No noise through the walls, no funny smells. Clean room and great service. We had only one call about the "Time Share". Told them no and that was the end of that. There were 13 in our group and we had two condos. One - 3 bedroom and one - two-bedroom. Plenty of room and space. We had two 2 year olds and one 3 month old.

When we arrived on the 16th, we had a flyer in our room about ordering Thanksgiving dinner and we did. We fed 13 people for $89.00 and it was very good. It was delivered to our condo on the Wednesday and all we had to do was warm it up on Thursday, eat and back out to the parks we went.

This was our second Thanksgiving Trip to Disney staying at Bonnet Creek. My son and daughter-n-law have ownership there.

I would recommend it highly to everyone.

Sorry I did not answer your questions about transportation. We drove to Disney so we used our vehicles. There were a lot of people using the shuttle and I have heard it is on a much more reliable schedule. I believe it leaves every 30 minutes. Not sure though.
