Questions About Bed Guards or Rails

I am asking for friends with a 2 year old daughter. They recently purchased a bunk bed for their daughters. The 5 year old on the top bunk and the 2 year old on the bottom. The top bunk has rails built in but they are looking for one for the bottom bunk as well. She is overwhelmed with the brands and would like to know if anyone is really happy with a certain kind. I told her I had connections (you all) and would find out what brand is good and safe, plus easy to install. Thanks!

I got mine at Target. They only sold one brand, at least at the time. I think it says "The First Years" or something like that on it. It's blue and has worked fine.

I also have a First Years/Target Bed Rail. It works fine for a regular bed or bottom bunk. We've used it through two kids and had no problems.
