Questions about applying future discount

There are currently no discounts available for the time we wish to travel, October 3-9. If we book a package now at full price and a room discount becomes available can it be it be modified to room and tickets and keep our park reservations?

Yes, as long as the room type you have booked is available for the discount being offered.

When I answered I assumed nothing has changed. I've done this a few times over the years with room discounts. I have always had it applied to my package without issue. I'm sitting here now hoping for a mid July to August discount as we have a 12 day trip booked at the Wilderness Lodge at full rack rate. I've never paid full price, so really hoping something hits soon!

The great advantage using at Travel Agent like Dreams Unlimited Travel, is they will do the change for you. They may even get a heads up from Disney as to when this is happening.

My TA (not with Dreams - but any reputable Disney-specializing TA should do the same) always checks the new deals against what I have and either changes it and lets me know or lets me know that I have the better deal. (Or will let me know it's not available for my type of room but if I changed categories (not always a bad thing - like from a Tower Studio to a Deluxe Studio at Riviera) I could save some money.) I love having someone else who does the legwork on that for me - saves me endless hours on hold.
