Questions about AP room discounts and the DDE. Can you help?

ok so I have decided its best for us to get Annual Passes. Can anyone elaborate on what the discount percentage is like on the AP rooms? For example the rate at the Poly garden view for the value season is 355.00 I think. What would be the cost for the AP rate? Is it like 20-30% off? just looking for a general idea here. thanks!

The ap rate isn't a percentage any more it's a dollar amount off. I got the AP rate for the Poly in Jan for $280 so that's $75 off a night.

This winter's value season, the discount was $100 flat rate off deluxes. At times, the discount has been a percentage, other times a flat discounted figure. It's been quite a while since Disney has offered 45%. That said, when you can get Pop Century for $49, or the Poly for $240, it's still a good deal--unless Disney is offering free food!!!

This summer they had YC/BC/BWI Std for $189/night. This Oct we got $71 off a night at AKL. This Dec we got $244 for poly garden view ($71 off). The Jan/feb rates are $80 off deluxes. I think it's $23 off values and $46 off mods. (All these numbers are pre-tax.)

Also, we save sooo much money with the DDE card--much more than free dining! Because we can't eat as much food as comes with DDP *and* you get 20% off the whole meal, including alcohol!

we just came back from BC using a AP discount(my first time buying one) which it was regular season and I think it came out to be about $80.
We also bought the DDE--it was great!!!!!!! You will only see savings if you are using table service but it will pay for itself in about 2 meals! The best perk of the AP!
