questions about another stay

Just got back from our trip and already I'm looking to go again but this time in sept/oct Im wondering what its like crowd/weather wise? as we have always done July. My main question is we want to stay at all star movies this time around and mabye do two nights at animal kingdom lodge as a treat. I was wondering how hard it is to split your stay? How is it done exactly? We would like to go for 6 nights 7 days. I'm looking into that time of the month becasue I want to take my son to the MNSSHP and of course get to see the other resorts. Are there usually any deals for that time of the yr? Any advice would be helpful as we have always done the package deals with airfare/ dining and ticket/ park hopping and we have only been two times so far and both times we stayed at pop.

This will be our third visit in September and we love it. Crowds arent bad and the weather is lovely.

I am just curious if you mean this sept/oct or if you mean next sept/oct? The reason I ask is because you are still within your 14 day window of when you activated you last set of park passes. Last year when I got home I decided to upgrade my pass to an AP because I knew I would be going back within a year (I too was within the 14 day window). I called WDW and they had me mail in my old card as proof and then they billed me for the upgrade cost. The AP will likely provide you the opportunity to take advantage of great resort rates and you can split your stays without any problems .
