We are considering APs, since we go so often. I was wondering, when does the 1 - year start? Is it from date of purchase or date of first use?

When I buy an AP, do I get a magic band or can I connect it o a magic band?

how early can AP holders make fastpass+ reservations?

I believe it is from the day of purchase, at least mine has always been. But, I have been an AP holder for 14 years, so maybe thats just what happens when you renew, the first time you purchase it, it might be from the date you first use it Hopefully someone else will know for sure.

They will send you a new magic band and it will also be connected to any other magic bands also.

You can book FP+ 30 days out. Have fun!

It is definitely from the first day you use them and not from the purchase date. MB are sent once you make a reservation and then you will need to link the reservation to your APs.

You can book FPs at the 60 day mark, prior to your arrival date.

When you renew, you keep the original date. We use to renew but found we wasted months that way, because they did go from the original date.
