Questions about AK Rainforest Cafe

Hi everyone!

I have a couple of questions about the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom that I'm sure someone here could help me out with! Do you have to go through the park entrance to eat there, or can you eat there without going to Animal Kingdom? I'd like to eat there on our MGM day, but won't have a park hopper. Also, does the restaurant have the same hours as Animal Kingdom, or is it open later?

There is an entrance outside the park. You do not need park tickets to go there.

I'm not sure about the hours. I think that I read that they stay open later than park closing but I'm sure. I can't find it right now. Maybe someone else knows.
