I have room-only reservations at Fort Wilderness with AAA discount for 11 nights in June. I also have already purchased park tickets for 10 days from Undercover Tourist for the group (2 adults, two kids 3-9). I would like to add the QSDP. So here are my questions.
1. I've been told that I only have to purchase one-day park tickets for each member of the group in order to qualify for the dining plan, even though our reservation is for 11 nights. Is this true?
2. If this is true, then will my room-only reservation fee increase because I have now purchased a "package", or will I simply add the dining plan costs to my present reservation cost?
3. If I do this, will my room key card then have the one park day plus the 11 nights of dining plan encoded on it?
4. Is there any way that I could use the one day park tickets for friends who will be visiting us, but only going to the parks for one day, and yet still use the dining credits for our family?
5. If #4 is not possible, then can I have the days from the previously purchased park tickets (from Undercover) added to my room key card?
Picky questions, I know, but I'm really wanting to try the QSDP, and having never done a dining plan before, I need to know exactly how it works in order to make sure it will be cost efficient for us.
Thanks for any help you can give us,
Tromba
